Prolozone therapy is the combination of classical Prolotherapy and Ozone Therapy. A small volume of ozone gas is injected into tendons, ligaments, joint capsules and joint spaces following prolotherapy injections. Adding ozone therapy to classical Prolotherapy or exosome therapy, further supports tissue repair by improving circulation, stimulating a cascade of growth factors and improving oxygen delivery to damaged or injured tissues. Without sufficient oxygen and blood, which removes waste products and brings in nutrients, joints that have been injured, are aging, or have an active disease process (such as osteoarthritis) stand little chance of healing properly. Furthermore, Prolozone is especially effective for reducing pain.
